About

I’m a 25-year-old Sound Designer based in Central Massachusetts.

I come from a background in business with a BSBA in marketing. I briefly worked as a content marketing specialist in the energy efficiency space but regularly found myself sound designing, making music, and exploring audio every chance I got.

My infatuation with sound design and music production started when I first heard Excisions 2016 Shambala Mix on Soundcloud. This mix was full of fresh sounds, intricate textures, and sheer intensity. This novel soundscape was unlike anything I’d ever heard before. I spent so much time listening to this mix, and it’s been a pillar of inspiration throughout my auditory journey.

In May 2019, I went to a music festival called EDC Las Vegas. This three-day weekend festival was full of sonic personality. Every act I saw had a unique way of expressing themselves, showing off their sound, and drawing you in. This was a huge event for me, and a turning point in my life. So, I saved up some money, bought my first PC, and purchased my very own copy of Ableton on July 4th, 2019. I’ll never forget how excited I was to get started. I’d spent all of June watching tutorials on YouTube.

From there on out, I’ve spent just about every day exploring sound design, music production, and honing my skills. Working with audio is what I’m meant to do.

Fun Facts:

When I’m not sound designing, you can find me at the rock climbing gym, in the kitchen cooking, or on my pc, making music and gaming. I have a soft spot for good food, and I believe that sound design has a lot in common with good cooking. The better the ingredients, the better their sum can be.
